ART SHOWS

The Sausalito Presbyterian Church is a spiritual center that honors the artist within all of us. Since 2003, we have been mounting art shows every month to nourish, inspire, and touch the spirit of all who come into our church community.

Shows are held in Thomson Hall and are open to both church members and artists in the larger community. The exhibition fee is $50 for members and $100 for non-members. Any medium is welcome, as long as it can hang on our walls. We cannot accommodate free-standing sculpture.

Over the years, we have exhibited more than 100 artists, who represent a mixture of media and subject matter. Works have included painting, collage, monoprints, monotypes, watercolor, oils, acrylic, encaustic, pastel, pen and ink, beaded masks, fabric art, photography, landscapes, portraits, still lifes, and abstracts. We have also enjoyed hosting a number of group shows. The photo shows Curator Louise Forbush at a church art show with long-time member, Don Jehling.

If you are a painter, printmaker, photographer, or other creative artist interested in exhibiting your work, please email Louise Forbush at louiseforbush@gmail.com.

Check out a .pdf of an application form here, but please email Louise for the latest information.

SPC is grateful that Louise shares her extensive artistic skills with us. And in the showing of artists and their art we are continually inspired as we gather in Thomson Hall.
